Employee SPOT Awards
This new program of employee recognition began in June of 2009. The program is directed to those employees who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. It focuses on one-time achievement, like a superb compliment given or an outstanding noticeable action performed, rather than sustained performance over a period of time. An award is given to each employee who receives a Spot award. After each calendar year, the top three SPOT actions, voted on by staff and management, will be honored and rewarded as well. The motto of the program is “Get caught–being GOOD!”

Design Award of Special Recognition
The Society of Registered Architects recently held and event at the Knowlton Mansion. Jack and Beth Conroy were on hand to receive an award for Knowlton Mansion’s Restoration and Adaptive Reuse. Conroy Catering 2008 Company Softball GameCongratulations to the Front of the House for pulling off a victory this year! It was a close game that kept everyone’s attention. Now it’s tied—Back of the House won in 2007 and now Front of the House won in 2008. Next year should be interesting to say the least! We would like to thank everyone who volunteered to cook, coach, umpire, set-up, clean up, and transport things. Congratulations also go out to Sean Youngman for his winning t-shirt design. It added a fun touch to the day!
Congratulations to Alice Johnson, 2007 Employee of the YearAlice Johnson has been with Conroy Catering for 9 years. Alice has been a loyal and hardworking part of the Conroy team. She always goes above and beyond at each and every event. We are lucky to have her on our staff and thank her for all of her hard work!
